B I O G R A P H Y
Past:
Goku hatched in a clearing, he saw no one he could consider parents or any other adult for that matter and the hatchling looked around for someone to help him or something that would tell him where he was and where he could get a meal because he was very hungry. Goku soon found a kind dragon who took him to a clan and gave him a home and a meal. he grew up happy in the clan and allowed to wander where he wanted more or less with little issue as the clan was fairly relaxed with where the hatchlings wandered as long as they stayed near the clan and were back before nightfall as there were dangers in the territory most of which came out at night to avoid the dragons who would have killed them and made the territory a bit safer. Goku wandered with little care and took to going farther as he grew older and feared relatively little as he was usually faster than anything that tried to chase him and he could find a place to squeeze into to hide where his would be attackers couldn't follow.
One such attack ended in a bad injury because he hadn't noticed his attackers before they had caught him and broken his arm and several ribs, the adolescent was taken back to the clan where the healers set each bone and were shocked when in a matter of hours. Goku didn't think anything was odd or wrong until the healer asked how he had healed so quickly and called the clan leader when the young drake expressed no knowledge of how he had healed so swiftly of that it had been odd. the dragons in the clan wanted to use Goku for his ability and see if they could duplicate it through magic and maybe duplicate his talent for tracking as well as both would be useful to the clan, Goku was willing to a point to allow the spells, unfortunately for him the spells were painful and he soon changed his mind after many failures and increasingly painful spells.
He soon left this clan and started wandering, finding clans he could stay in on a temporary basis and usually paid for his den and meals by tracking things down, food, items, missing dragons, anything that needed tracking he was willing to help with. finding a clan he chose to stay in was a relief in a way to have a place to call home on a more permanent basis. Goku met a nocturn dragoness that he took and interest in her in a romantic way and he tried to impress her with various small trinkets and stumbling over his words when in her company much to her amusement and his embarrassment. he eventually courted her and she accepted, he was happy that this clan seemed less inclined to magical experimentation that ended painfully for the young tundra and he put his skills to work for the clan when he wasn't wandering miles away or recovering from injury or death.
Goku woke up after being killed the 3rd time, making him feel aggravated. He got up, feeling nothing but pain and looked around where he had been disposed of. Goku soon learned that he had been placed in a cave. Goku tried to find a way out of the cave as he heard squeaks from bats echoing throughout.
Ever since Goku was young, he could never die. Whenever something fatal happened to him, he would only sleep for a day or two. This concerned every dragon in the clan. Some theorized that Goku was cursed, and must be banished from the clan. Others said that he was gifted, but nobody wanted to know what it was exactly.
Goku took his time exploring the cave, he was surprised how deep inside that he was placed and saw amazing rock formations. After a few hours, Goku found his way outside. As Goku smelled around, He learned that he was in Dragonhome, the last place he was at before being killed. Being relieved, he sighed, and began to head back to his clan.
Despite being a kind dragon, many dragons want to hunt Goku. Their reasons typically vary, some want to see if the gift is true, others want to claim the properties of the gift for themselves. However, none of them have found a way to extract the immortality from him. The hunting has even gotten to the point where dragons are paying other dragons to hunt for them.
Eventually, Goku got to the clan, each dragon was doing their own thing, some were helping the others. When they saw Goku, they weren’t surprised, yet happy to see him. Goku had a reputation of leaving to see the world, sometimes he brought other dragons with him, but most of the time he went alone. His journeys were always dangerous in some way, almost as if he was using his gift to his benefit.
After Goku spent a few hours at the clan, talking to some of the members, and helping others out. When he was satisfied, he said goodbye, and set out for another journey. Goku had always been curious about what’s inside the volcanoes in The Ashfall Waste, so he decided to head there. Goku spent two weeks traveling through the Scarred Wasteland and the Windswept Plateau. He met multiple dragons on his way, however, he didn’t stay with them for long.
When Goku arrived at The Ashfall Waste, he immediately felt the heat against his body. However, he pushed on, being determined to find a volcano. As he smelled the air, he smelled nothing but ash. Goku wandered about the burning land, finding a few dragons here and there, he tried to stir up conversation with these dragons, but none of them seemed interested. Eventually, Goku gave up and continued towards a nearby volcano. One of the dragons that Goku tried to talk to began to follow him, surprisingly, Goku hadn’t noticed them.
Hot, tired and determined, Goku reached the top of the volcano. He watched the magma bubble and slowly move about. Being fascinated and satisfied, Goku turned around and saw a gray Snapper standing there. The Snapper smirked, and pushed him into the volcano. Immediately after, they left to get their payment. Goku spent weeks inside the volcano, dying at least five times before the volcano erupted. After Goku was outside of the volcano due to the eruption, he got up and began to walk home.
Current:
Dying was different each time... most of the time, but it was always painful and so senseless in his case, he didn't think his gift could be duplicated, not that anyone listened to him! he was often waking up from one assassination attempt or another and he was left with stiff joints and a new ache or pain. he walked home to Dragonhome, to took a good while for him to make it to a clan where he could get the food his body was screaming for and he happily ate as much as he pleased, treasure was no object to him. he ate his fill and continued on his way back to his clan, it was a long walk and he would stop in several more clans before he would get back to his home and the relative safety of the clan.
