Isobu is the name of the Sanbi, the three-tailed beast.
It was created when the Chakra of the ten-tailed beast was separated as one of the nine tailed-beasts. During the First Shinobi War, Isobu was captured by Hashirama Senju and sold to Kirigakure as a sign of friendship between the nations. Many years later Isobu was supposed to be used as a weapon by sealing it in a captured Kunoichi from Konoha and sending her back to her village. The plan failed, however, as she let herself being killed before reaching her home and Isobu was sealed again in the leader of Kirigakure. After his death it was set free and roamed the lands as a wild beast. |

❖ - timid - ❖ ❖ - friendly - ❖ ❖ - protective - ❖ ❖ - calm - ❖ In contrary to the other beasts Isobu was rather calm and friendly, even befriending his second host. When it roamed freely Isobu stayed hidden in a lake instead of attacking humans or villages. However, it reacted rather wild when attacked and went on a rampage when it was tried to be sealed again. It has tough skin and can roll like a spikey ball. Isobu can create corals and swim very fast, as well as producing hallucinogenic mist that makes its victims see their insecurities. Isobu's stomach consists of countless miniature versions of itself that helps digest it's food. It could use water-based Ninjutsu as well as space-time Ninjutsu. |
