ambrogio: "immortal"


Once a formidable crime lord, Ambrogio was robbed of his position by a usurper and murdered in cold blood. His arms were ruthlessly torn off during the attack. With his memories hazy, Ambrogio now seeks vengeance as a ghost. While still alive, he was committed to his purpose and ruled with an iron fist. Still, Ambrogio treated his criminal underlings like family. His passing carved a hole into each of their hearts, yet none of them know of his current fate.

Ambrogio is filled with an empty calm, scarcely happy nor angry. He is only wracked with true emotion once his soul is rendered unstable, an occurrence that seems to take place at random. At that point, his soul can only be placated by negative emotions of others or consumption of their souls. Fortunately for him, fuel to maintain his soul is bountiful in the woods he isolated himself in. It is a popular location for bodies to be “disposed of,” flooding the forest with spiteful spirits. Ambrogio appears as a normal, tangible dragon at first glance but cannot be interacted with in any way. As if trapped in his own world, others are completely invisible to him: he merely has a primal drive to seek out his “food.” He is little more than an apparition, essentially. Sometimes he hears voices of dragons he was responsible for killing; rarely their words are heard out loud by others as well.
