Post: Ferrier
Join a unit responsible for receiving a relic and delivering to the intended buyer, like Mother herself. A unit is typically made up of a half a dozen or so fighters, capable of both discretion and fast flying, and tolerant of bad weather, rough winds, and poor sleep.

Splinter's been told they have an old soul many times. To which they shrug, and go back to working on their latest whittling project—a sparrow in flight, an anatomically correct heart, interlocking triangles, beads of flight runes, whatever's taken their fancy. Curls of abraded wood fly by during the short rests between pick-ups and deliveries of relics. It helps maintain their wakefulness and concentration; Splinter can take long stints being on watch, allowing the rest of their unit time to catch up on sleep or tend to injuries.
Their whittled objects end up in various places. The far majority are given away to acquaintances, passerbys on the street, a Foxhole their unit visits, the barkeep at a cozy inn, the hatchling of a one-egg nest with no playmates. Sometimes Splinter will leave one at a Deity's temple or altar, with an ironic twinkle in their eye. Once, out of sheer cheek, they gifted a sculpture of a worshipful dragon back to the Deity their Agent had stolen from.
