Biography
``Erosion! We found something!``
Erosion's head tilted up from the human bones she'd been looking at, her face covered in dust and silt. She stood, walking over to peer over Tres's shoulder. The female obelisk glanced up at her mother, blinking away dirt. ``It's a massive skeleton, somehow incredibly preserved, about 60 meters...`` Her dark head shook, her pale mane bouncing up and down.
Erosion blinked at the skeleton, before nudging Tres.
"We'll stop work for today. Continue tomorrow!" Erosion called, nudging Tres away as the two walked back to the tents.
Late at night, Erosion couldn't sleep.
She knew about the emperors in the light's domain but had never fully wanted to go there, to brave the lion's den. She knew a few dragons who had lived in the Emperor's Wake, but now she found herself walking outside, towards those bones.
When she got there, she sucked in a breath.
missing
gone from the site, the body just... wasn't there.
Erosion stared at the indents of where it had been, and her gaze traveled upwards, and she saw massive footprints in the dirt. She spared a look backward, towards the tents.
Gone. Missing! How could this be? She sighed, and trudged back to her tent.
