Not all deals with demons end in tragedy or stolen souls. Some end in an exchange of powers, with the bargainer receiving the demon's power in bursts to carry out favors for the demon.

Lutang is one such case. After finding herself a close friend of a demon by the name of Elizabeth, she received powers of transformation which classified her as a bargainer. Despite the relatively low crime rate of Porto di Sale, she is one of the handful of individuals who stalks the night to prevent and protect. Lutang is incredibly happy go lucky, which partially drew Elizabeth to her company, and the pair often find themselves in each others' presence outside of their dealings.
