Biography
A deep custodian who watches over long-forgotten prisons. In the deep, the frozen halls carrying fully frozen Shade and long-dead remains alike are left in the claws of it's one remaining guardian...
There are many layers to the pits of the Southern Icefields, prisons built upon prisons and layers upon layers. Many of the ancient threats once contained in these frozen halls are decayed, preserved in ice forevermore as nothing more than monuments to the harshness of the Icewarden.
These deep pits have been forgotten for years, abandoned by even their god as the prisons above are built further and further, layers upon layers of abandoned history growing above their frigid prison.
And yet, in these pits, something shudders, and still paces along long-forgotten paths...
There were once more of them; deep guardians who stood watch, generations after generations slowly contorted by the progression of time. Brought to these depths to watch by their god, buried deeper and deeper, sealed into a tomb like the very things they had to watch.
Slowly, their siblings lost their minds. Not in sense of sanity, but in sense of something like sapience; losing their guardian desires, reverting to something more primal, lumbering far into the depths away from their stations.
In the end, one remained.
Krenkor still walks the patrols they once held, guarding cages that can no longer escape. Mostly, at least. Those few pieces of Shade probably couldn't find their way out if they hoped, even if they did ever stir. Though there's not much left to protect, they'd rather keep their eye on it all. An early warning from the bowels from the earth, whatever that meant for the rest of the world.
Whatever that meant for a god that didn't even remember his eldest custodians.
...But then, something else appeared. And while they were used to their isolated ward, and their cheery nature was sometimes a bit irritating in such a solemn role...
...They had to admit, their new companion made things slightly brighter.

- In spite of their outward grumpiness, they actually really like Dolvin's presence. It helps keep them from going insane and it helps provide some warmth in these cold depths.
- Shackles are just shackles; once used as chains, and let go long after it's prisoner had stopped moving. They're one of few peers, though they don't make much noise...
