Originally one of few born Dronebeasts, a stunning display that the hive could reproduce these nightmares once one was captured, who ultimately got into a fight with a very strong Gladebeast who backed them further and further away until the Dronebeast inevitably fell to a lack of command and instruction.
The entity's life was incidentally saved from starvation by Augiline, who decided to use an experimental strain of Plague mixed with Arcane and Nature magics to establish a psychic connection to the entity, using this connection to instruct them to continue care of themself as Augiline examined them further. Unbeknownst to both, this infection warped the receptors that would pick up Wavelengths, which permanently cut off the Dronebeast from the Hive, though they still have many typical Drone capacities.
Utilizing this connection, the two began to travel, with the Nature flight not particularly liking this "twisted Gladebeast" and worrying the Plague dragon had created it themself. This eventually led to Augiline expanding the mental capacities and allowing the entity to develop what was originally a rudimentary intelligence, and now as the months go by, is showing more and more to possibly be a true sapience inside the dragon, though buried.
The entity picked the name Coconut after being shown one, being fascinated by the odd fruit. They're recongizable from a standard Dronebeast due to the large blister in their chitin on their left arm, which hums a green color from their own latent Nature magic. This is the conduit Augilite initially used to connect to them with, and now acts a sign of their newfound freedom, seeing as the plague ran it's course and warped many facets of their Drone biology. Coconut mostly mimics dragons around them, especially following Augilite's tendencies as a baseline due to their latent connection; however, little by little, they pick up their own new habits and quirks, with the name being just one of many facets indicating a potential true identity underneath.
