Finch

Personality: a silly noodle, nonverbal (won’t say any words, but does make vocalizations and sing wordlessly), very expressive, energetic and excitable. Cheerful and playful, his energy is very :3. He will bite you, affectionately or otherwise (it depends on how much he likes you). An excellent judge of character.

Favourite Types of Games: party, cards, anything that ends in chaos. A known dice goblin.

Hates: being forced to speak, dragons insulting his family, having to sit still.

Backstory:
Finch has no idea where he originally came from. No one even knew what sort of dragon he was until he met his uncle Biblion for the first time and he asked his mother how in the world she came by an Auraboa hatching. The thing is…Finch also doesn’t really care. Who cares that he sometimes hears voices in his dreams? As far as he is concerned, his family is his family and he met his family the day he found himself in that cave.

He can’t tell you how he ended up there, but he can tell you that he was very tired and the statue in the centre of the cave looked so friendly that he just curled up and fell asleep.

When he woke up held protectively against an older dragon’s chest and the friendly-looking statue was alive (and even more friendly!), he decided that these dragons were his dragons and has refused to hear of anything else ever since.

When he first met Bloodscale he decided that this was his brother before his parents had even thought of the idea.


Other Facts:

• When he first met Biblion and he suggested that his parents try to take him to the other Auraboa now that they knew what he was, he bit him so hard the idea was dropped. They had a rocky relationship for a while, but have developed a better relationship since. Still, Biblion is endlessly frustrated by his nephew’s complete lack of interest in where he came from.
• He once bit the leader of another clan after he suggested the Amethyst and Orinth weren’t his and Bloodscale’s real parents.
• Despite not speaking/using words, Finch is the clan’s best singer.
• Even amongst a clan of game-loving dragons, Finch’s dice collection is impressive. A true dice goblin, he has dice in every color you can imagine (and some you can’t) and always has some with him that he clicks together when he’s excited or nervous. This collection includes one strange, glowing pdie that he never actually uses and, in fact, has had since before he met his parents.
