Mordax is a strange case; he came to Sheol willingly. After years of researching both the herbs and the bacteria of the Kingdom of Rot and its surrounding areas, he craved more. He wanted to discover something that no dragon had ever even heard of, let alone seen before. Thus, he left for Sheol, where the wildest and strangest specimens lay. The hostile nature of the land causes every species to evolve far more rapidly than normal to try and get ahead of both their prey and predators; a fascinating phenomenon spurred by the desire to survive. Hr and Ophelia found each other first, then Fitz found the both of them, and together the three founded Mayfly Bay.

Mordax is, above all else, ambitious. He always hungers for more -- that's why he's here, after all. He has such a ravenous need for his next big break, his next accomplishment, that he works so intently he forgets to eat or sleep. Fitz usually stops by to remind him to take breaks. His doctoring skills are put to good use in the Bay. Fitz often gets sick from testing the edibility of new plants and bugs while Ophelia all too frequently comes back from hunts or patrols with new cuts and bruises to treat.
