Biography
Hedron and Helix
Hedron and Helix are a pair of sisters who are extremely accomplished mathematicians. They haven't applied their skills to any particular field; they like math for the sake of math. They like to spend their days at a whiteboard, solving infamously impossible equations and ultimately debunking the impossibility of several proposed impossible equations.
Now, they aren't miracle workers, and there are truly impossible equations; their main work involves finding mathematicians who believe they've found a new impossible equation and shutting them down. It seems they get some kind of sadistic glee out of watching the faces fall on their fellow mathematicians.
And that would be in character for them. Hedron and Helix are cold and calculating, and refuse to waste any time on dragons they consider beneath them. They get joy out of humiliating their fellow mathematicians, and in humiliating their own clanmates, too. Even their fellow scientists, who might consider themselves to be on an equal level with Hedron and Helix, are not spared from the sisters' wrath.
But Cadfael...Cadfael is a dragon they would consider themselves to be on equal footing with. The two have nothing but respect for Cadfael, and have pledged themselves entirely to his cause. They delight in the idea of a world where the most intelligent dragons rule, and they know they would have a spot on a seat of power. Cadfael, in turn, respects them, their work, and their drive for power greatly, and frequently comes to them for assistance in his robotics work. And the sisters are happy to help who they consider to be their future leader.
