Light Envoy
Nephthys job is not an easy one, very few in the clan envy her position, despite the benefits it may bring. She is in charge of being the groups representative to all light clans that they come into contact with. Shadow and light doesn't often mix well, and there are always issues to be worked through. Luckily, Nephthys loves to be kept busy, and is keen to keep relations and alliances steady.
The young Noctourne was not produced by any member of the shadow clan, her egg instead being found and adopted by one of the resident broodmothers, much like many of the other members of the tight knit group. Cellen was the particular broodmother that brought Nephthys to term, and wanting great things for the youngling she arranged her teachings to begin as soon possible, bringing her to Ven to be taught their history, to Mercy to learn the way of words, and to Darkmagic to develop powerful skills in the way of charms and spells. Uta often caused a distraction in the young noc's lesson, playing games or chattering as he often did, much to Nephthys' glee. She was glad for the companionship amoungst her strict regimine, dispite thouroughly enjoying her lessons.
Once her adopted mother believed her to be ready, Nephthys was brought before Falcera, her advisors, and other dragons that she had not seen before. She expected to be tested, to need to show her skills and what she had learnt, but instead she was simply asked to talk to the strangers. Nephthys rejoiced in the idea, eager to make new friends, and while the strange, almost golden dragons seemed apprehensive at first they quickly warmed to her, insisting that she be the one to show them around their gloomy home and no one else. Once their stay was over Nephthys was once again brought before the leading council, this time they had a gift for her, a set of golden armour made to fit only her. Falcera smiled to her, a sight she had not seen before, and Dalamar informed her of her new roll as Envoy to the Light Clans.
As busy as she is, Nephthys always finds time to chat and play games with Uta when she is in the home lair. She converses with her old teachers, and they are just as proud as her mother. Ven worries over her, anxious incase she one day join her list of fallen, for it is a dangerous job trying to maintain sour alliances, but Darkmagic is sure that her taught her well enough in the way of spells that she be a force to be reckoned with.
