A deity born without a mask, the typical source of his kind's power. Though he has abilities that far exceed others of his age, he depends upon the blood of mortals in order to use them. Prowling the streets of Everoth's cities after dusk, he chooses his victims at random, showing little remorse for the lives he has taken. His own blood is capable of transforming dying souls into undead creatures who share some of his gifts and his eternal thirst. Using it, he has so far created three vampiric thralls.

Emil- At over five centuries old, Emil is the oldest and most powerful of Gwaed's creations. Originally intended to be a test of his abilities, turning Emil nearly cost Gwaed his life. He treats Emil like his own son and raised him during his first years as an immortal.

Daniel- Emil's lover, who chose to follow him into undeath. Two hundred years old, Daniel is middling in terms of both power and age. He has retained his mortal appearance somewhat better than the others.

Simon- Created out of sheer desperation, Gwaed was unable to complete Simon's transformation. Not yet three decades old, the young nobleman has been left mostly bedridden due to the pain and side effects from his partial vampirism.
