Silver Glass Would the childhood be different if it was here? Spend some days running in the corridors where the giant panels are with their paintings, drawings and carvings of exuberant gold, sand, whites, turquoise and many colors. Days playing in the tropical jungle, or dressing fancy for ceremonies in the noble part of this city, seeing parades, confetti falling from the sky. Very different. The childhood was difficult, and life turned into a never ending wheel spinning everyday bringing the hardest things only. Fight, swords, cuts and many of these were a common thing, the harshness of battles chosen by others for fun. One day, like a soup, the broth of this wheel thickened, war brought against will, and for a long time that was the thick food served, for years. This sword only knew blood and violence, until the point that this silver glass turned red, sour, bitter, sad and depressed. In this oasis, in this tropical and a different city, the new life is better, much better. They have no idea of the past and atrocities committed, the days of fight without end. They accepted with a nice welcome, with no much questions asked, the sword was accepted for a lighter job and soon the days patrolling the shore became common, these became the new life. A new blessed life, with so much more lightness compared to the old one. The pause sometimes is to take a bath, a quick break in my patrol hours, in the small oasis when no one is there, to refresh the body and soul in this tropical city. Although it will never wash the blood the sword knows, it helps with the soul a bit. Days go on as this now. |
