Caius- general in Roman forces in William Shakespeare's' play 'The Tragedy of Julius Caesar'

Caius is the very definition of the strong and silent type. He was wounded in the Coliseum before he came to the clan, and his throat was badly damaged. He's strong, and will do anything for his clanmates.


When he was hatched, he always knew he wanted to be a warrior. To fight in the Coliseum and become more powerful than any other. He would bring glory to his clan and then go on to fight for one of the Eleven. He trained constantly, day and night to make himself as strong as possible for the day when he could begin in the Coliseum. He wanted nothing more than to be part of the Earthshaker’s army, fighting so that the Earth flight could be dominant over all the others. Everyone in his flight knew how important it was to him, and when he was grown, he was taken to the Coliseum to watch a battle.
It was in the Mire, and they were fighting a group of Salve Kamaitachi. He was standing back, watching excitedly as his clanmates battled. They were doing so well, battling so strongly and dealing far more damage than the Kamaitachi. He cheered as one of the Kamaitachi fell, and then another.
Then his clanmates attacks started failing.
They kept attacking, and missing, and the Kamaitachi’s attacks quickly grew stronger. One of his clanmates fell, and he stood still in shock as the two remaining Kamaitachi attacked the other. She fainted, and he stood alone against the two Kamaitachi. He froze. He felt sick. There was no way that he would be able to defeat two powerful beasts on his own.
One of the Kamaitachi attacked, slicing its scythe across his neck. He howled in pain as the second did the same, and he collapsed, blacking out.

When he woke up again, he was in his clan home, his neck wrapped in bandages and his voice nearly gone. And he wasn’t so sure about being a fighter.
His clanmates tried to make him feel better, saying that he could still become a fighter. But it didn’t help. The clan healer said that his throat would probably never heal.
