Giuseppe was a world-famous traveler, traveling across Sornieth and leading grand solo expeditions. He would frequently publish travel guides and memoirs about his travels, which led to the aforementioned fame — he built up quite a mighty fanbase from his published travel journals.

But now he’s elderly, and his wings ache when he flaps them, and his bones creak when he moves, and Giuseppe had to face a hard truth: It was time for him to retire. And since he was in the Shifting Expanse when he came to this realization, he decided to stay there permanently. He reached out to some old traveling buddies, who pointed him towards the Clan of the Striking Bolt. And that was wheee Giuseppe chose to stay. The Clan welcomed him with open wings, and Giuseppe found himself a home to live out the rest of his days.

Giuseppe loves to spend time with the hatchlings; he enjoys regaling them with tales of his travel stories. He likes to tell them about the things he’s seen, the places he’s been, and the dragons he’s met. Although the stories he tells might not be entirely true — Giuseppe is very prone to exaggerating these stories. He might exaggerate how big something he saw was or how many of something he saw, or brag that he defeated a grand monster when he actually just caught a brief glimpse of it. But how true the story is doesn’t matter to Giuseppe, or the hatchlings — they just like to hear the grandiose tales, and Giuseppe just likes to see the glimmer in their eyes.

Giuseppe still holds onto that sense of boldness and adventure, although adventuring is much harder for him now in his old age. Luckily, he still has Wetfin, one of the friends who invited him to the Clan of the Striking Bolt in the first place. Wetfin frequently invites him on his fishing expeditions, which delights Giuseppe. The two will travel wherever they can to find both fish and adventure, and will spend their days fishing and chatting. They’ll even frequently drag hatchlings out with them, much to the hatchlings’ chagrin.
