Mire Flyer & Swamp Witch

Living and battling (mostly) alone in the Mire tends to have a distorting effect on even the strongest psyches, and in general those who choose the Mire Flyer life don't have the most even temperaments to begin with. Salem makes absolutely no attempt to disguise the fact that she doesn't care to socialize with other dragons -- most of the time, even her mate Samhain stays out of her way during her visits to the main clan. (And when he doesn't, the rest of the clan stays away from them. For reasons.) She's a witch of few words and very little patience for chatty types, strongly preferring the companionship of her jackalope familiar (rumored to be named Skippy -- but that can't be right, of course). She's not unkind, though, and requests for spells, sachets, and runes, when delivered briefly (or better yet, by letter) are met with quick, courteous service, regardless of ability to pay. The rude and wealthy, on the other hand, would be wiser not to seek her services rather than face the price she demands...
