* Gratitude, or Lux as she's now known by, is called Helios and Amaterasu's little golden princess, seeing as her entire being shimmers a golden glow wherever she goes. Lux's great-granddad's bloodline was able to suppress and lock away the shade dwelling in her body, ridding her of it. Yet, that came at a price, as in return, her eyesight and voice were taken from her.

* After a series of unfortunate events separated her from her mother and father, Gratitude, now named Lux, was found by Amaterasu and Helios in the ruins of the Mirrorlight Promenade. As they watched, the black markings seemed to fade away, leaving a shimmering surface of pure golden glow in it's wake, thanks to her great-grandfather's powers suppressing the shards of the shade dwelling within her. The darkness seemingly to seep into the ground underneath her, discoloring the soil around the small hatchling. The other hatchlings around Lux were startled and cried out before fleeing at the sight, leaving a confused Lux to look around, not understanding what was going on. Helios looked over to his mate and gently approached the hatchling, smiling and caressed her head, bestowing the name "Lux" onto the unique hatchling.

"Don't worry, my dear. We'll take you in while we search for your family. I'm sure they are worried about you." This hatchling was lost, both Helios and Amaterasu had to agree on this fact, as they haven't never see Lux before in their daily passing by these ruins. They were also curious on how the youngling managed to shift her colors from black and gold, to pure gold. An ability they have never seen before, perhaps? Lux tilted her head at the wildclaws with cloudy white eyes as Amaterasu stepped up beside her husband before tilting her head. Yet as Lux opened her mouth to say hello, nothing came out besides a soft whine. Her white eyes, even though devoid of color, seemed to hold so many emotions within their depth.

Her voice, what happened to her voice? And where was she? Her mother and father's scent gone, replaced with so many different smells that it confused Lux even more, disorientating her. The wildclaw pair eased down to settle on either side of Lux, nuzzling her gently. The young hatchling could only whimper, burying her head into Helios's side.

"There, there, we'll let you get your bearings before we take you back to our place. Let us start our search in the morning."
