Elm

He's not a forest guardian but he grows and sells saplings of various species of trees. His favorite trees are fruit-bearing trees and he has his own greenhouse full of well-kept fruit trees.

Elm is close friends with Oakmoss and Cladonia and provides their domain with young pine trees raised from seeds of forest to replace any he may need to cut down for warmth or shelter. He is very respectful to the pair and they appreciate his understanding.

He often brings them fruits from his own personal trees, sharing the bounty of the tamed growth to his forest spirit friends. In exchange? They will also bring him foods found only in the deep woods.

Despite his plague roots, he has a natural green thumb and is ever-thankful for it.

Elm is friends with all residents of the little town he lives in.

This normal "dad" of a guy thinks everyone in the town's normal and they all farm their own things, and he has a couple friends who live in the woods, but he's actually surrounded by supernatual beings.

And they all think he's great.

Marmalade and Jelli, two powerful and magical beings who can switch between serthis and undertide forms, are more than happy to trade with him for fresh fruits from some of his personal trees to make spreads and jams and sweets. In return, he gets custom jars, glass tools, and sometimes new dinner plates. OR his land for fruit trees is expanded.

He doesn't know how the two manage to create the glass pieces or flatten the land so easily, including changing the small stone wall around his land, all in a night while he sleeps, but he assumes that they're skilled and know some mighty hardworkin' folks.

His harvests are always bountiful and the cold never seems to move in until he gets his last harvest done.

The Morning sun is never blinding, but it is always bright enough for him to see when he's waking up early to tend to the trees. The weather always seems to rain they day after he comments that he could use a good rain shower. And the sky always seems to clear up when he mentions needing some sunlight.

His trees are never bothered by wildlife or disease.

His bills? What bills? He doesn't know why he never gets bills, but he's fine. Never had any trouble from it.
