Kismodett wandered the border of the Sunbeam Ruins and the Shifting Expanse with their adopted family of Dei and Boque. Kismodett and Deilanae fought to keep Boque safe from the dangers that came with being clan-less, taking mercenary jobs and other odd ones to keep them fed.

With the onset of a chilling autumn they chose to wander a bit farther north than usual, hoping to find a warmer place to winter in the Viridian Labyrinth. There, they found Naeroetia's adopted family of misfits and bargained a winter stay in exchange for any services needed.

Nae accepted, and watched with some amusement as the hard hearted nocturne struggled to stay aloof from the overly friendly clan members. Invitations to communal meals were accepted with bewilderment. Gifts were at first refused, before Kismodett understood that not all gifts came with the expectation of reciprocation.

And Boque was never happier.

By the time the winter was over, Naeroetia wasn't surprised to find Kismodett awkwardly shuffling from foot to foot while trying to mumble a request to stay with the clan permanently.
