According to Kismodett and Deilanae, he was found flopping helplessly in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, having been blown away from the Windswept Plateau. They dried him off and let him follow them around ever since.

He's dearly beloved by his adopted sisters, who do their best to keep him safe and in good health. He's not a lot of help when it comes to work, but he keeps their spirits up by fluttering around and bringing them flowers. As both Kismodett and Deilanae war with darker tendencies and underlying disposition for callousness and cruelty, he does them a great service just by reminding them that their are good things in life worth protecting.

He was thrilled when they found Naeroetia's clan, and quickly got along with the other clan members, to the bafflement of Kismodett and Deilanae. He helped them integrate into the family of misfits and now is pleased with life.
