It was of a beautiful woman, still and silent; perfect for Pygmalion. He named his creation Galatea, and he fell in love with her.
Aphrodite looked down and, sensing that his love was true, breathed life into Galatea's static form so as to gift Pygmalion the companion he so desired. Only, she had turned into what he most despised in humans. She was a person now. She had interests and imperfections, opinions and a will of her own. She was no longer the perfect, stoic listener he had wished for.
Pygmalion rejected her, and Galatea was alone."
This dragon is Galatea in dragon form. She too was sculpted, brought to life, and rejected. The difference is, she came to the Plateau and found refuge here. Here, Areyne found dragons who would love her despite her flaws.
