Vespa has been traveling with an injured wildclaw named Disco (npc) in hopes of helping the poor dragon find healing and a safe place to live from those who threw him into an arena. Salbatore, son of a mage and warrior, has come from Plague wishing to seek out what has occurred with the Nature and Plague treaty after the Seed Scar event. Being a nature dragon who happened across them on their travels with his curiosity for exploring the labyrinth, Sokanon has taken the leadership roll of the group.

Sokanon is wary of whether that's a complete truth but there could be dangers ahead and Mashrim seems like a tough dragon.

Notes: Another day of gathering resources at Sokanon's insistence. The pearlcatcher knew how dangerous the Labyrinth could be and how easy it was to become lost if one didn't know where they were going. Vespa, happily volunteered to help him gather more supplies and rations while Mashrim only joined so he wasn't the one stuck watching over the injured wildclaw in their company. The aberration notices how friendly the spiral and pearlcatcher have become and starts making teasing comments as they work. An unintentional matchmaker perhaps...

Notes: The final distance to the first stop had ended up tougher than expected. Sokanon, Mashrim, and Vespa fought off several creatures they accidentally crossed paths with after treading on their territory. Making it out safely, Sokanon finally brought the group to a small village of dragons with the Shrieking Wilds looming before them. Soon, their journey would take them into the dense jungle. The pearlcatcher hoped the battle earlier wasn't a sign of dangers to come but Mashrim seemed more than ready to continue putting his claws and fangs to good use. While in the small village, a young Wind guardian, Siriol, practically begged to join them in hopes of exploring the Nature flight further. Vespa was more than happy to decide for the group that the guardian could join, glad to finally have another female dragon in the group.

Notes: As he feared, even the outskirts of the Shrieking Wilds were proving dangerous. Sokanon worried but Mashrim, bold as ever, went on the offense and cleared their path forward. Vespa joined in on the fights and Siriol, ready to prove herself to the group, lended her claws as well. Today they suffered no setbacks or injuries, but the pearlcatcher feared for the future.

Notes: Sokanan would continue leading the group deeper into the jungle with unease. Despite being their guide to the Viridian Labyrinth, the nature dragon is wary of the dangers he knows can lie within. But peace was on their side today! A convoy of other travelers crossed paths. After the two groups took a break and ate together, they gifted the group with more supplies—no longer in need of them since they were making their way to a town soon enough. Wishing each other luck, the groups went their separate ways.

Notes: While yesterday's visitors were friendly, these were not. Small fae and quick spirals attempted to raid their small group. Sokanon quickly enlisted the help of Salbatore and Siriol to go after them, leaving Vespa and Mashrim in charge of guarding Disco and the remaining items. Successful, the trio chased off the would-be thieves and returned with their stolen goods.

The Plague dragon didn't say why he was so far from home, but he and Mashrim seem to have started a quick alliance. Sokanan is hesitant to trust without knowing Andreas' intentions, but he isn't about to chase off the sandsurge just yet.

Notes: Another attack, this one fiercer than the last. Mashrim, Salbatore, and Siriol defended the group against the seemingly endless attackers. When the last ones fled however, the trio remained standing. While Siriol tended to her wounds, she would question Vespa about her job as Wainwright. The guardian had been curious of her friend's work and decided to give it a shot after learning more about it.

The wildclaw was getting better but still reluctant to say much about how he'd ended up so injured to begin with.

Notes: A broken wheel, likely something to have occurred thanks to the dense and bump jungle floor. Of course, the attacks on the group didn't do them any favors. With her quick work, the group managed to stay on track and continued on, Sokanon claiming they'd reach their next destination soon.

With it growing dark there was only a time for a short funeral consisting of digging a grave and burying her. They managed to find the small stop and restocked supplies, staying there for the night.

Notes: The last time Sokanon had been in the area all had been peaceful. But now it was a battleground beneath the trees. The pearlcatcher considered going around, to risk getting lost over getting killed, but the others insisted the way forward was better... so long as they were careful. And careful they were. Vespa and Salbatore acted as scouts for clear areas and while they had a few dragons they had to send running, they cleared the battlefield without any losses.
