Biography

The orders were to seize the Plague clan's hold. An easy mission. Few dragons appeared to protect the hold - to the untrained eye, it barely looked like a hold at all. It would take nothing for 439 and her sibling drones 436 through 440 to complete the mission.

They were not prepared for the gargantuan Guardian, spitting fire in their faces. 439 was blasted out of the hold by a honey encrusted Fae, hurtling bolts of pink energy through the sky.

Her fellow drones attacked the weaker dragons. Blood filled the air. 439 struggled to stand. Before she could rejoin the fight, a cloaked Coatl swooped her off her feet and ran into the Wastes. She couldn't wriggle out of his tangled cloak. Another Coatl followed soon behind, cooing and babbling to some baby she was carrying in her arms.

439 kicked and screamed. No one gave her orders to leave. She would have to find her way back to Goldwood, or face whatever prison the Plague dragons had in store for her.

One of the many descendants of Mizar and Alcor, collectively known as drones. It wasn't intended as a flattering term, but they've taken a sort of pride in being their parents' yes-men.

The drones are most often bound for the Lightweaver's service, but every now and again one of them winds up serving another god - or even occasionally a dragon clan. They function as excellent soldiers and bodyguards as long as their superiors don't expect them to think for themselves; such a trait is viciously suppressed from the moment of the drone's hatching.

Every now and again the training doesn't quite work as intended, resulting in various undesirable quirks. Sometimes things such as curiosity, empathy, or a sense of morality aren't quite stamped out, resulting in defective soldiers that are quickly culled from the crop.

I wonder which sort of drone this one is?

Exalting Drone to the service of the Plaguebringer will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
