Biography

Amber
Offspring of Floren

“There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends. I have no notion of loving people by halves; it is not my nature. My attachments are always excessively strong.”
— Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey
Having a father so excited to have you around isn't always a good thing. That isn't to say that Floren was a bad father, but the opposite, he was far too good. It didn't matter how many eggs or how many children came up to him, even if they weren't his own, he was sure to find a way for everyone to enjoy themselves, be happy and feeling satisfied. For those that wanted space, space was what they got. If they wanted to learn magic, or hear stories of other clans and their strange gods he would tell them proudly. However Cerulean, their mother, was far more cold. She cared nothing more than to have her own offspring to turn out into something great, and that pressure alone drove some to seek fame elsewhere to make their mother proud, while others learned to love and enjoy life as their father wanted them to.

Amber fancied herself her father's favorite, though she knew he probably (hopefully?) didn't have any. Despite this, though, it was her mother's favor that Amber tried to cultivate the most. She exceeded in every area she pursued and there was nothing she decided she couldn't do.

When Amber was still very young, her father's clan passed through the Sea of a Thousand Currants, where she fell in love with the water. She decided to stay behind and join the Feywild Clan. Her talents in wielding magic were proven useful, and Amber joined the subsect of dragons within the clan, The Gemstone Guardians. It was not long after until Amber found her mate in Videl.
