Young when he left the Canopy. Knows about Rootbed clans tangentially from The Loop but wasn't really expecting to find one. Over time they realize he has Loop Knowledge of the previous clan
Maybe the knowledge comes out as he works to tidy the space up

something something Underglades and Auraboa knew about each other. The Loop has plenty of memories of "those weird watery Auraboas"

His eyes are just. missing pigment. he's totally a Nature dragon guys his eyes just aren't pigmented for some reason. He was always told some story about being born at the top of the Behemoth and his eyes reflecting the sky. (it's superstition but no one has any better ideas.)

Has to reconcile the Loop knowledge of the place with what he observes. Because the place is not flooded anymore. Why? There is/was/always more water here. There is/was Underglades. The Underglades are for the roots as the Auraboas are for the Canopy. The Loop and The Song might know each other

The plants of the Greenskeeper gene are rooted in him. They share his resources, meaning he has to eat and drink more to feed himself and them, but they aren't really detrimental.
