Because of his species, his voice is very slow, as if each word is a carefully chosen. Because of this, he prefers the subtleties of signals, writing, and signs over the hurried rush of spoken language. While delving into the ruins of an ancient city nestled within the kingdom's borders, he unearthed a collection of ornate amulets adorned with arcane-fueled jewels. Intrigued by his findings, Arlo immersed himself in the lore of the Amethyst Kingdom, and ended up becoming a citizen after reaching an agreement from Queen Meyry herself to better explore the area as long as he shares his findings. As he delved deeper into the history of not only the kingdom but the Starfall Isles itself, Arlo became captivated not only by its lost splendor but also by the untapped potential hidden within its secrets.
