Biography
The Warden is a god, nothing more and nothing less. His abilities far outclass anything on the pitiful wet rock known by its naive scaly inhabitants as Sornieth. He can shape and change his form as well as those around him, bend the elements to his will, and, just like any good God, warp the very reality around him. But luckily to soft-hearted reptiles that crawl along the dangerous ground, the Warden is a kind and gentle God. When a great slanderous force from beyond the stars struck the planet, it was the Warden who trapped it away in the icy depths of the southern part of the planet. He even created a fierce and strong race of creatures to make sure nothing ever escaped from the frozen gaols. Of course, the Warden, despite his obvious greatness, is ignored and maligned by these selfless lizards who would rather come up with their own deluded gods than worship the true God right in front of them!
Of course, that is only the truth to the Warden. For most everyone else, the Warden is a poor purely raving lunatic who is horribly and pointlessly cruel to almost everything around him. The Warden can do some impressive and rapid shapeshifting, but nothing grand enough to denote him a God. The Warden shows great mental dysfunction, seemingly incapable of maintaining his own basic hygiene and welfare, childishly refusing to ever admit any of his wrongdoing and blaming anyone and anything around him. Despite this, he has a great sense of self-worth, believing himself to be a God that has come down from a better, more enlightened world to teach the stupid reptiles of this universe “justice.” Just like everything else about him, the Warden’s justice is something to be desired, as he thinks that once one commits a crime–and he is the only qualified to call something a crime–the only thing that can be done is pain and death.
His true cruelty is almost matched by his hubris.
Almost.
