For Pergola, tending to the gardens around Mossgarde is a spiritual act. It is not uncommon to hear her shouting and hissing at hatchlings and visitors for trampling on her grass or carelessly playing in her flowers. In that regard, she can be a bit difficult, for she does not believe in accidents and insists she would never make one herself. She does, however, have a soft spot for Hellebore, her assistant. She found him and his sister, Phlox, as eggs flattening her favourite flower patch and despite the initial rage he induced, claims he was sent to her to alleviate her burdens and that he is a wonderful gardener.
