Noel

A curiously shaped egg was found by Spring one cold morning after she was driven out of her warm lair by a powerful impulse. Unsure about what she had found, Spring showed the rock to Belvedere. Startled, Belvedere squinted through his prized monacle and gasped: "it's a Nocturne egg!" The rest of the clan gathered around for a look, not really believing such a thing existed (much to Belvedere's irritation). Rowan was profoundly relieved that Spring had found a charge and would be staying with the clan.

Five days later, the egg hatched and out scrambled a chubby little hatchling with fire eyes. Spring found him adorable and little Noel loved her back. Rowan was happy to put up with the little fellow if it meant Spring would stay. Taw and Swifttalon were relieved to have a healthy hatchling and the rest of the clan welcomed him to the lair.

Now that he is an adult, Noel has taken little Calen as his charge, just like a grown-up Guardian would do. Eyes glistening with tears, Spring gently kissed her little boy and told him how proud she was of him.

Noel's lessons in warfare were not met with as much enthusiasm, as he appeared to be even more inept than Xing (quite a feat!). Once it was discovered that he was a perfect mimic however, the clever Taw assigned him to a newly created role of double agent and the clan is quite happy to have him in their ranks.
