Mossy Pearl Cerdae Doe

"Happiness held is the seed; Happiness shared is the flower."

Dried Cedar Branch Empty Zalis Nest Maple Leaf Avian Gemstaff Blooming Vine

Born to a Pearl Cerdae and his non-cerdae mate, Fey ingested the seed moments after birth and lost the use of her already small wings completely by the end of her first month. They eventually withered away into nubs, which are hidden beneath the thick moss along her back. She was born to a very large family of Pearl Cerdae siblings, but she took a vested interest in her father's tea business. She learned the art herself fairly quickly, and developed a love for the presentation of it.

For the most part, Fey's life was fairly normal. She cultivated teas and helped serve them, and leaned into learning more about teas for healing. A dollop of honey could make any potion taste good, after all! She traded with merchants who passed through, and learned from them what teas they liked in their own homelands. She learned about foreign plants and even cultivated some of them successfully.

As she grew, Fae learned to wreath her mossy form in red roses, maintaining them as she would any other plant she grew. While not directly growing from her body like the moss, the vines have interwoven in places and similarly draw nutrients. She enjoys making rosehip tea from her blooms and even supplies petals for rosewater baths.

She crossed paths with a young Cerdae named Dahuria one day while making her teas and was smitten immediately. He was somewhat standoffish, but Fey's persistence and gentle heart won him over eventually, and he became her mate. While he is peddling his wares, she remains at their little home and helps craft the finest teas.
