Slavic God of evil. His name means ‘Black God’. He is a dark demonic deity, a hideous shadowy figure dressed in black who only appears at night. The lord of evil, Chernobog causes calamity and disaster, bringing bad luck and misfortune wherever he turns. There is no hidden agenda — he just enjoys being a black-hearted villain.

Chernobog is a dark demonic deity, a hideous shadowy entity who only emerges only when the sun sets beyond the horizon. There are no redeeming qualities to this shadowed demon, as he lives to bring misfortune and chaos to all he happens to meet. He finds joy in releasing his demonic armies and unleashing terror upon the creatures inhabiting his current plane of existence. However, over the millennia of serving as an accursed god of the night, he noticed the frightful sight of his true form was immediately killing the more fragile creatures as soon as he appeared to them. To draw out their suffering, Chernobog made a cloak of shadows to disguise himself as a dragon. Since the world he now inhabits is filled with dragons, this makes it far more exhilarating for him when he hunts down his prey and slays them with his own claws. When he is not using his demonic armies to hunt for him, he uses rather cruel methods of hunting. First he will chase his intended prey to the point of exhaustion, using shadows to confuse and send the creature into a panicked state. After his prey wears its self out he will descend upon them and peel away his shroud of shadows to reveal his true hideous form. While his prey is still conscious, experiencing raw terror, he will tear their soul from their body and trap it in his personal world of shadows. His final act is to torture the suspended soul for all eternity. He appears to draw strength from the pain and fear of the souls he has trapped. He is known for having a hatred for things others might consider beautiful and has even gone so far as to destroy sources of merriment when he ventures out at night. Due to his presence in the clan, most dragons are afraid to venture out at night. Because he is essentially a god, no one in the clan is quite aware of the full extent of Chernobog’s powers. Their fear of him is so great that some even believe uttering his name will bring bad luck. There is also a rumor floating around that if you look into Chernobog’s eyes you will be able to see the fires where he keeps the souls he has ripped from bodies. No dragon has been brave or foolish enough to try.
