A resident of the Charmed Towers, specifically Spire Island, where the Haunted Spire stands proud. This island is one of the least populated, as many of the residents of the Charmed Towers find it too scary and dangerous. Remnants of its past as a castle on the earth, and the bloody battles that took place around it, are occasionally brought back to animation due to the overflowing power of magic that flows through in. Most terrifying are the suits of armor, huge and monstrous and empty, trying to regain the shape they took when they were filled with bodies. They can be put to rest, for a time, but it won't be long before they rise again and look for flesh to fill their forms. Other dangers include the weather wizards, a gang of avian invaders who wish to claim the spire for themselves, and magic thieves. Despite these dangers, the allure of the natural magic whirlwinds has attracted a variety of fairies and has manifested in some supernatural phenomena, sometimes called miracles, but more accurately known as coagulation among magical folk.

Spire Island's residents are few, but they are among the humbler, harder-working, more "grounded" folk of the Charmed Towers. Kopara is one of these. Not the most talented of magicians, but he has a strong work ethic and is uncommonly empathetic. He's not afraid of any darkness or ghost, so the Haunted Spire troubles him little. In fact, he uses the monsters that live there to continue honing his own craft while also helping others by subduing them. He feels obligated to use his powers for good, which is a strikingly odd trait for a Charmed Towers inhabitant. For that reason, he is not well-liked amongst his peers, which does sadden him, but his convictions remain firm. He is popular among the younger and weaker residents of Spire Island at least.
