Age: Young adult
Status: [Wanted: Dead or Alive by order of a royal family in the wind tribe]
Personality: Crude, yet kind. Desires freedom and despises stuck-up royalty.
Doesn't have a lot of book-smarts, but he has a lot of common-sense in the wild, and is a survivor.

Born in a poorer section of the Windswept Plateau, Dantalian had to struggle from a young age to survive. He constantly eyed the nearby palace with envy, thinking to himself how great it must be to be handed everything, when he had to fight just to get by. He cursed those who held power, disgusted at how they treated the lower class.

One day he left the poor village of dragons and decided to live in the forest, surviving off of small vermin and insects, with the occasional larger prey when the opportunity arised. It was in a way harder to survive with the constant threat of the beastclans, but he enjoyed the freedom. Fighting the beastclans who attacked him made him stronger as well, and he found it easier and easier to cope with attacks. Soon, not many beastclans fought him anymore since the risk on their side was too high.

Time passed, and he had a routine going, and almost forgot about how close he was to the palace, since it was hidden by the thick trees and bamboo of the forest. That is, until a day he happened across a dragon, a dragon who was very different than the dragons he had seen before. He looked lost and completely out of place in the woods. Why was he here? Who was he? Questions circulated in his head until he came to the conclusion... he must be a royal...

Remembering his disdain for royalty, he grimaced, and tried to walk away from the young fancy dragon. However, the dragon noticed him, and ran up excitedly and introduced himself as Lancelot. Dantalian was a bit taken aback by his fancy language and prince-like demeanor.

Despite Dantalian's best attempts to leave the dragon, he kept pursuing him through the forest better than Dantalian expected, yet clumsily got in trouble a few times, either getting tangled in vines, or a foot stuck in a log... Dantalian just couldn't leave him alone.

Neither dragon had ever had a friend before, so they were awkward around each other for a while, and not quite sure how to talk to dragons their own age. Soon, they began to exchange stories of their lives, and Dantalian grew quite fond of Lancelot, for he wasn't how he pictured a royal dragon to act, and was surprised at how he was still treated as an equal, even when he told Lancelot of his background. Lancelot too thought it was unfair of how the lower class was treated, and explained to Dantalian how he just needed to get away from it all.

Soon they became near inseparable, as Lancelot continued to sneak out of the palace to meet up with Dantalian. However, one day Lancelot failed to appear, and Dantalian grew worried after a few days of no-shows.

He searched the forest with no sign of Lancelot anywhere, so he steeled himself and decided to sneak into the palace walls for any clues. He knew it was a stupid idea, but he never considered himself a smart dragon.

After a while of sneaking around, which he had become quite good at living in the forest among the beastclans, he found a window which was barred over and peered inside. There sat Lancelot, slumped over in a depressed fashion, who perked up when Dantalian tapped on the window. Lancelot ran over, tears nearly flooding his eyes as he begged him to let him out. Dantalian had much more strength than Lancelot did, so with a few good hits, he broke through the bars with ease.
The noise however, gained the attention of the palace guards, which alerted the royal family of an intruder.

Disgusted, they ordered Dantalian's life to be taken for infiltrating the palace and defiling Lancelot's mind with thoughts of the outdoor life. Dantalian was attacked by the palace guards, with the intent to kill, leaving deep gashes on him that never fully healed. Lancelot was appalled at this and leapt at a guard, knocking them to the ground. The violent action he took stunned the family just long enough for the two dragons to escape and run back to the woods. They had became wanted refugees in the Wind Flight, so they traveled around different flights, meeting a lot of different dragons, and picking up a traveling party, all either on the run of something, or dragons just wanting to expand their horizons. A few dragons they met along the way that ultimately stayed with them in their current clan are Bungapakma, Merrill, Fisco, and Noelle.

They traveled up through the wind clan, meeting Bungapakma and Merrill first, who decided to travel with them on their journey. Then they went though The Sea of a Thousand Currents, taking the route above land in the Tsunami Flats, especially since Bungapakma, being a snapper, cannot swim. There, Dantalian picked up his Waverider Cape, as a gift from a few locals he helped out.
The Tangled Wood gave a few of the dragons anxiety due to the constant tricks and sounds by the local dragons and creatures there, so they changed route and headed to the Sunbeam Ruins. There they met Fiasco and Noelle, who joined their party of travelers as well.

This band of oddballs finally made it to the Viridian Labyrinth and were exhausted by the journey, when they met Nightshade's clan and decided to stay for a few days. The few days turned into more days... then a few months, and eventually they became such good friends with the clan they decided to stay for good.

He now serves as the clan hunter, using his stealth skills he learned from a young age to be very successful.
