NOTE: AspenDancing (a lot of green); Amaxey fairly yellow/gold; Phthonus (some greens, but good chances of branches); Gaynor (rare with no green; but possible rare branches)
Amaxey and Chrysus had a successful nesting, and their initial announcement spoke cheerfully of two healthy eggs. Three dragonets hatched, and it has been widely assumed that somehow the announcement was misprinted or something. That is the "official story" but it does not account for how a dragon would not know how many eggs she laid, nor does it account for MoretonWave's odd appearance (Starfall tert, when neither of her parents have it).
Chrysus is a bit distressed at the "third egg" and not sure how it came about. She considered the idea that Amaxey had some kind of a fling with another dragon, and smuggled the egg in, but she also doesn't think he would be likely to do that.
