Amaxey and Chrysus had a successful nesting, and their initial announcement spoke cheerfully of two healthy eggs. Three dragonets hatched, and it has been widely assumed that somehow the announcement was misprinted or something. That is the "official story" but it does not account for how a dragon would not know how many eggs she laid, nor does it account for MoretonWave's odd appearance (Starfall tert, when neither of her parents have it).

Amaxey's view is that family is family, and whatever else MoertonWave might be, she is family.
