Uh-oh, looks like this little hunk wandered a little too far from his lair (#35604/Averil), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread.
Born to two dancing performers, Carlow has a innate desire -- no, need to be the center of attention. He never quite took to dancing like his parents but instead, using his soothing baritone voice, sings love ballads from the rooftops. Of course, he ends up getting kicked off the roof a lot. It's not because he's bad, oh no; he doesn't quite understand that normal dragons sleep at 3 in the morning. He scouted out potential ladies to stay with, but his brother Wexford always steals them away. Strong silent type my tail! He just gets them because he's taller. Now Carlow's going to show them all and pick up as many ladies as possible. His other hobbies include exercising (lightly, mind you. Don't want to ruin those beautiful white feathers!), writing (for his songs, obviously), and cooking (he taught himself because he's a bit of a picky eater, but he's showing a lot of promise on becoming a great chef!) -x-x- Carlow met a beautiful female skydancer and even had a nest of cute little hatchlings, but it looks like she fancies another younger male now! The nerve of her! Heartbroken and angry, Carlow decides to pack his stuff and leave to another clan. Even though he wished to forget about this clan as soon as possible, he takes a Dew Laden White Rose with him anyway. -x-x- Carlow had a fling with a lady Skydancer named Lane. Sadly thats all she would let it be as she decided she would rather nest with a Snapper. Carlow felt a little huffed by that, his feathers being ruffled he decided he would take flight and leave. How dare she! What is with these girls!! -x-x- After searching fruitlessly, Carlow sighed, sadly packing his thing moving on hoping someday, somewhere he would find his one true love. -x-x- Carlow's jaw dropped (nearly dislodging the rose held charismatically between his perfect jaws) the moment he entered the Sundial Ruins and saw the clan that lived there. There was not one available, suitable female anywhere! What a waste in was to even travel so far! He checked around, but it only confirmed his suspicion. He was nearly bitten by the first testy coatl female he approached, and the other experiences proved to be no more successful. Carlow sniffed disdainfully, turning on his heel. Perhaps the pretty lady dragons were to be had elsewhere. -x-x- A trio of little curly-cue spirals led Carlow to their home clan, where he suddenly found a paradise in a crowded lair of the Ashfall Waste. Wherever he looked, there were girls, girls girls! They outnumbered the men of the clan, and many of them hadn't taken on a mate yet. Surly here he had a chance, he thought. There was an exotic Skydancer who wore red silk and gold armor, a fierce but gorgeous red Imperial, and a rainbow Coatl. With all these potential mates, he figured he'd stick around for a while and serenade to the ladies. After much hard work, he finally won the favor of a lovely pearlcatcher and was soon caring for a single eggs in their fiery nest. He could hardly wait to see what his child would look like. He hoped for a girl, but no matter the outcome, he would be a happy daddy. Sure enough, five days later, a lovely little girl hatched from her egg. Carlow started to realize many of the other females in the lair had little interest in him, and the one he had his daughter with even seemed to lose interest. It just seems like he can't catch a break! Sensing that he overstayed his welcome, he headed off to the next place. -x-x- Carlow entered into a nearby nature clan with a flourish and a swagger. To his dismay, he discovered that the most beautiful crystal dragons had all been spoken for - and he had no time for the "eyeburners" that were most enamored of his song. In a fit of self-pity, he took his leftover pride and wandered onto the next tribe.
