Signature spell - "For This Oath, I'd Give My Very Soul."

Note: The names of signature spells are just the words uttered upon using it, so they be anything from a phrase, a single word, or something that actually sounds like a spell name. The effect can be just about anything and can be a spell that one casts over and over or a one and done type of deal. Whatever the effect, it is very specific and personal to the dragon that uses it and the effect may have any variety of conditions to use, or none at all. Some may not find their signature spells until they meet the right dragon or find themselves in the right scenario.

I mention this on Gremory's bio because all of the weirder part of signature spells applies to her and her spell. Signature spells do kind of have a destiny-esque thing to them, with the whole meeting the right person or hitting the right circumstances at times. Although, signature spells form mostly from an internal desire, sometimes conscious, most of the time unconscious.

Signature spells can also be overwritten and changed, but only from outside forces.

Gremory's signature spell is linked to a physical object and it's through this that she can use its effects. She must be touching it to do just about any spellcasting, even stuff that's not specific to her signature spell, but this drawback is evened out by having in general really potent spellcasting and of course, the abilities granted to her by her signature spell. Gremory can change the shape of this object at will, though what it was originally was a glistening golden topaz, and whatever she changes it into keeps either a physical topaz on it or the design of one. She can also call it to her hand at will as long as it is not being stopped by another force. Currently, Gremory keeps it in the shape of a folding fan.

The other effect of Gremory's signature spell is that she can summon and command a pack of shadowy spirits that take on the appearance of just about whatever she wants, although they only have so much mass that she can split between them (as in, she could summon say a single big thing or a bunch of small things). She prefers summoning them as a pack of wolves, though. She can also shapeshift into one of these shadowy spirits at will, also preferring to take on the form of a wolf when she does this and turning her topaz into a collar that she wears around her neck.

Gremory is an inquisitor of the Revedaen Church. Unlike Barbatos who punishes heretics brought to him, Gremory is of the type to go hunt them down and drag them back, if needed. She's fiercely loyal and doing anything the Archbishop says without question. She gets a intense thrill out of the prospect and execution of a hunt and truthfully, she'd enjoy doing this until the end of her days.

There is a rumor that Gremory's belief in Reve is actually an act. That her true loyalty is to the Archbishop alone. That the Archbishop is the one who granted her all of what she has.
