 Rudolph was a gift and an ambassador from Light for some time, however,
he was asked to stay as a trained soldier in order to protect the clan and offer advice to the Great Commander. Despite his second-in-command position, he is actually the strongest and most agile dragon in the clan. This has stood to inflate his ego.

Inflating his ego much more was the prophecy read out by Idearis. She said aloud that when calamity struck the clan, a hero born in another clan would save them. Everyone in the clan was convinced it was Rudolph due to his strength and helpful contributions to the clan, but there's a possibility that hero may not be Rudolph after all.
