Head of the guards { "Yes, my lord." } 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄 北ノ庄  - Head of the guards in the castle - Obtained this title by beating the previous title holder in a ceremonial duel - Currently the longest holder of the title - Has a relatively high ranking, most of his work takes place outside the castle - Skilled in many forms of weaponry but prefers the Kusarigama - Has a secret relationship with the head of housekeeping - Oro was the previous title holder's familiar. -Looks intimidating but is actually a bit soft - Flecks is NOT blood As the head of the guards, one would think Kitanosho would live a life full of excitement and danger, but that is far from the case. In all his years of service, he has never even seen an intruder come close to his position, as he guards the main gate to the castle. A privilege, one might say. But for Kitanosho, that is not the case, he finds it rather boring as most of his hours are spent waiting for his break. Being the head of the guards, he commands the other guards as well, but outside from breaks and meetings he doesn't see them very often. The guards that protect the outermost gate of the clan grounds are even allowed to patrol the border at times, Kitanosho misses the times he had time to do that. Being one of the older demons in the castle, Kitanosho obtained his title of head of the guards by defeating the previous title holder in a ceremonial duel. The duels only happen once a year, at the near end of it as to celebrate the coming of a new holder or the stay of the old one. These duels were exciting to him at first, but after so many years of doing them, the thrill was quickly lost. At this point, Kitanosho just feels bad for the candidates as they don't seem excited anymore either, and just seem frightened at most. He doesn't grow stronger every year, but his opponents seem to give up more easily. Whether he will lose a duel soon or not, he would accept his defeat in peace, knowing that he has held the title for the longest time. Despite all of the bleak parts of his job, he enjoys the high ranking he has earned. Being one of the only demons that works outside of the castle but still lives inside of it. He enjoys the banquets and elaborate feasts he gets to participate in, even if he's just idly observing from the side. The warmth of the castle brings him comfort, a stark difference from the cold gates. Kitanosho is skilled in many forms of combat and weaponry, he was trained to be able to at least understand all of the ones available to him. His weapon of choice is the Kusarigama, as that was the weapon he used to slay the previous title holder. But he does not carry the large chains on his own, Oro helps him with that. A mith trained purely in strength to hold the title holders' weaponry, he was the previous title holder's familiar as well. A perfect and devoted guard at first glance, Kitanosho hides a secret from his lord. He has a secret relationship with the head of housekeeping, Mitsuki. During his breaks he is often seen near the custodial closet with Mitsuki. However, the closet wasn't made for someone his size so they usually chat outside of it, even if others can see. Due to his title, no one dares to think anything of it, this protects the couple. However, he still wishes he wouldn't have to worry about keeping it a secret. Despite his intimidating demeanour, his behaviour with Mitsuki is a stark contrast, as he is completely subservient to him, even letting Mitsuki berate and discipline him on his improper manners inside the castle. He secretly enjoys this.
