Tarot never considered himself quite industrious enough for The Shifting Expanse where he was raised. Once he was independent enough to go his own way, he spent some time in the Sunbeam Ruins before ultimately deciding that the Lightweaver's territory didn't quite fit his ethos either. It wasn't until he took his first steps into the Tangled Wood that he truly felt at home.

Tarot has always had a love for the occult ever since he was a young hatchling. His peers always found him a bit odd, but he never let anything like that bother him. As he grew, so did his passion and this eventually led to him became a skilled fortune-teller. Over time, Tarot became quite famous in the Shadowbinder's territory, and dragons from all over the Tangled Wood come to have their fortunes told by him.
