Custard is everyone's favorite girl, a cheery, optimistic dragon always up for a laugh and smile. It has become her mission to make sure everyone's happy and that no tears are being shed, no matter how she feels. She hates negative emotions with a passion. She'll do anything to put a smile on a fellow clansmen's face and often goes to the extreme to fulfill her self-appointed mission. She loves children and will often play with the clan's hatchlings for hours on end.

Custard struggles with depression and anxiety, yet few actually know of her problem. She's an expert at acting, able to put up a happy mask and go from quiet to chipper in seconds. She bottles all her feelings up until it's all just too much and she can't handle it anymore. It is at times like these that she seeks the help of her adoptive mother Sycora or her mate Tubby.

She tries not to burden Tubby, aware of the many mental scars her mate carries. She didn't accept his courtship out of pity like many think, she truly came to love the strong, fiercely loving Nocturne hiding inside after getting to know him. They help each other out, never judging, only loving. When questioned, Custard gives them a huge smile and says that he reminds her that she matters.

Sycora found Custard's egg herself in Dragonhome, abandoned, all alone. She couldn't just leave it there and took it with her home.

When the egg hatched and Custard was born Sycora became her mother and raised her. Custard looks up to her and will spend a lot of time with her. Sycora is always busy and Custard's made it her mission to make sure Sycora doesn't overwork herself. She brings her food and water, makes sure she takes breaks and cheers her up when the weight of the whole clan on her shoulders is just too heavy to bear.

Sycora is deeply thankful for Custard's presence and keeps an eye out for her little girl, no matter how busy she is. She sees through the mask Custard puts up when depression hits her hard and lets the depressed girl sit in her lap or lean against her. She'll talk to her about her travels, the work she's doing or the dragons she'd spoken to, Custard hanging onto her every word like a lifeline.

Custard is incredibly proficient in ice magic despite her Earth heritage due to hatching in December during a merciless blizzard. She loves winter and cold temperatures and never missed a chance to have a snowball fight. Custard can withstand freezing temperatures and will use strong ice attacks when protecting their big rag-tag family.
