THE RAGE VIRUS

"They all laughed at me..."

Those were the haunting words that spawned the first reports of The Rage Virus.

One hatchling among many, Carrie was always a bit more reserved and alone, even by Imperial standards. She was clumsy at almost everything she tried, but that never stopped her. Carrie tried to be like all the other hatchlings, wondering from one group to another, looking for where she belonged.

But the results were always the same. She was considered too incapable. More of a burden and a nuisance. Even the simplest of tasks given to her wound up horribly wrong.

Then the whispers began. Followed by raised noses and dark looks. And then name-calling. At first, only behind her back. But eventually they didn't hide it. Finally, outright distaste and disgust.

Carrie was shunned by the others.

It was when the horrible laughter began that everything changed.

Something inside Carrie awakened. It was terrifying. It was beautiful. It was red hot and filled with rage, just waiting to be set free.

They all laughed at her.

And The Rage Virus was unleashed.

No longer was she the clumsy fool they made the brunt of their jokes and showed nothing but hatred towards. She was beautiful. Lean and muscular. Full of a rage that wouldn't be controlled. She became powerful. An Imperial that could stand tall on her dainty legs and laugh at all those who once laughed at her.

Carrie unleashed her rage on them all. Spreading like a plague through the lands of Sornieth.

Any dragon that is related or descended from Carrie has the option to build upon her lore and be considered a positive carrier of the "Rage Virus". The Rage Virus itself can be thought of like a Berserker gene; the stronger the anger of a dragon is, the more prominent the virus becomes (i.e. maybe you build up a dragon to level 25 in the Coliseum as part of the virus!) For lore purposes, any dragon considered "Positive" will always pass on the virus to their offspring!
