Nessamy

Nessamy had found stability.

She coiled her tail around her perch and gazed over the pale green fields of the Lightweaver's domain. The wind tossed the grass into gentle billows, interrupted by stands of red-gold spruce trees. They stood in stark contrast to the rubble of ancient towers, white and moldering like titanic bones.

Beyond a distant ridge, a warped, three-toned roar startled grouse basilisks into the sky. Luminax, the Emperor – and the protector. Few bandits or beastclan would roam near this place thanks to its ravenous undead guardian. Perfect.

Nessamy inhaled the sweet breeze, her silks fluttering coolly against her scales. Here lay the ruins of a civilization; here lay a new beginning. Dragons had already come to her from across Sornieth, many of them scarred, alone, desperate. They all sought different ends, and Nessamy would provide them the means. In the caves of this great hill, flanked by streams and crowned with boulders, a clan had begun to take shape.

And Nessamy would lead them.
