Biography
Throdio may have technically gone to The Pit willingly, but he was out of options. Simply trying to pay his bills was getting out of hand, by this point he was out of savings. As much as he didn't aspire to be anything great he'd take an honorable death in a gladiator ring over dying poor and nameless on the streets. So while he waits for his first fight he trains hard, sparing with anyone who is willing and often picking up new tricks from each opponent.
Fight 1:
Throdio was going to fight against Vaz and he knew this dragon already had blood on his claws. While waiting for the announcer to hurry up and get his long winded speech over with his heartbeat was steadily increasing. When the gates dropped he couldn't hear the crowd. If he lived he'd pay off his debts, he'd get a second chance, he could be great. The world narrowed in to the dragon across the sand. He didn't wait, better to strike first and strike fast. He felt his claws connect for a split second before he jumped back, instincts kicking in. He barely had time to register dodging one set of claws before teeth were on him, ripping flesh. Don't fall. His body didn't seem to care what he thought, crashing to the ground. The world narrowed in to those yellow eyes, filled with some emotion he didn't have the brain power to decipher. And then nothing.
