Biography

When one glances at Luciela, they would probably not expect her to be what she is. She seems small and weak compared to other bounty hunters in her clan. In fact, many would assume she is in fact one of the clan’s many servants. What they may not realize, it was Luciela who led many of them to their servitude

Luciela was born into the clan from an egg found abandoned after an expedition to the Southern Icefields. None expected the child to be much of anything, being too small and fragile to help. She was put to work as a servant instead, cleaning the dishes and mopping floors. It was during her brief time doing these duties did the more experienced bounty hunters notice a glimmer of potential in her. They quietly observed as she would persuade, bribe, and threaten the other servants into doing the work for her. It wasn’t pretty, but it was a skill that could be used to bring more dragons to serving Gladekeeper.

Her training began, and Luciela was taught the skills of manipulation. She’d be sent along to help with the bounty hunters on missions, luring their targets away with the promise of treasure and a new friend. Luciela greatly preferred this life to one of scrubbing floors, and eagerly worked to get higher up in the ranks.

Years later, Luciela has found herself almost at the top of the clan’s hierarchy. She and her mate, Achaius, are able to enjoy great luxuries while raising their many children. Greatly respected, she is able to get her way and what she wants without much issue. If Luciela wished, she could easily persuade the servants to start an uprising. She won’t though, she knows she has the lower-level bounty hunters wrapped around her claw, and they wouldn’t do anything to displease her.

Personality

After her training, Luciela has found herself to be a charming dragon. With a soothing voice and gleaming eyes, she lures dragons in with the idea of friendship. This is only rarely the case. On the inside she is a master of manipulation, enjoying seeing dragon’s slowly turn to her side. She is rather vain, loving to indulge in fine jewelry and fancy food. To her, her rank in the clan’s hierarchy is her greatest honor, and something to always be proud of. It is not uncommon to hear her recounting tales of her antics when on the hunt while at the tavern, laughing at how easy she was able to capture a dragon while the others either laugh politely with a nervous expression, or join in eagerly. There are rumors she’ll have it arranged for a dragon to “disappear” if they do not agree on a topic, so most do not dare to reckon with the charming nocturne.
