though, having black eyes anyway matches noth itself i suppose [that is, if the voids really do have a central body/consciousness/"head" rather than being the entirety of themselves]
then again mint having black eyes instead of white ones would then add more to her being the odd one out
perhaps the main difference between voidlings and the voids is that they have fragments of the other forces in them, resulting in... oh hell yeah i already designed them that way. white eyes for souleaters, black eyes for custodians.
nothie and darkie can Only be stark-white and pitch-black respectively. the landscape moves around you. there is nothing to see. all of it is seeing you. and then they're often depicted with faces anyway because why not
difference between audience and custodian being whether they're fate-fragmented or dark-fragmented? [cluck corrie]
anyway xotl's domain is Everything In-Between [which is yknow absolutely everything that isn't 100% dark/noth/fate/cor] and the thing about the main four is they have no free will but [mostly] everything else does ANYWAY that's why "pure voidlings" don't exist [they would just be avatars of the voids... not that they would be making little tiny vessels to run around in in the first place. well, corrie might i guess.] - every voidling has a little bit of different void in them, or straight up xotl-approved free-will-juice [which is /basically/ a void by these rules anyway]
ooh ooh the voids being incapable of changing since they're the embodiments of their elements would be perfect to hammer in the fact that fates getting put together is a bad thing because it'll be compelled to put the multiverse back to Order even if, when shattered, it doesn't want to [since the fragments can change but the whole can't]
