Ganymede
Clan Leader, Gardener, Nature Lover
Mate to Sinope
Voted "Most Likely to be found Physically Hugging a Tree"

Despite being hatched with eyes that mirror the Arcanist, Ganymede has made a name for himself as a reputable clan leader under the Gladekeeper. Her self-sufficient ways and the verdant paradise of her lands drew him in long ago and he has not left since. In his leadership, he may be a little distant. There are few times where he directly interacts with the rest of his clan, generally preferring to allow his representative to relay his messages and perform tasks. He much prefers to cultivate flowers and bask in the nature around him, though he knows well how to run a clan. His teachings include enlightening his fellows on the virtues of living off the land, taking what the Gladekeeper provides and giving back to her in their own ways.

Perhaps because of his strange past, shrouded in mystery as it is, he has been the subject of many curious rumors. Some say he was born from a spark of arcane magic that came into contact with a flower. Still others think he was hatched in the Arcanist's tower by the Arcanist himself, and then sent to the Gladekeeper for his fascination with the ground rather than the sky. These outlandish tales are told to hatchlings as bedtime stories and Ganymede is perfectly alright with it, as long as he gets to remain with his beloved nature.

His mate, Sinope, is the head gardener of the clan. Her devotion to nature rivals Ganymede's own, and the pair are often working to better the natural beauty around them. When Ganymede has to travel for clan affairs, many dragons have noticed the luck turning. Life around the clan isn't as verdant, flowers begin wilting, and the cheerful air begins to dissipate. Some have speculated that Ganymede's natural arcane magic and his love for his home breathe life into the place, and when he is gone the life begins to fade away. Whatever the truth, Ganymede rarely takes long on his voyages and makes sure to return before anything truly awful can happen.
