Hi as of this summer, I have a full time job & I am gone for most of the day. I don't get home until midnight, so if you have any inquiries, please send me a note!
Here goes another big paragraph later. The clan is identified by citrine gemstone, which is worn by every dragon in the clan. These gemstones come from Fossil & are used not only as identifying markers, but as a subtle way to track dragons who get lost in the labyrinthine corridors & tunnels of the territory underground. Many dragons from other elemental Flights are not well-acclimated to constant life underground, especially since tunnels are always changing & expanding. They are used as a safeguard these dragons, should they go missing, but are not meant to breach privacy. Any dragon may remove them if they don't feel the need to use them, but many wear the stones anyway for camaraderie between members. The affect of the stones are not super strong, but merely causes a gentle "pull" in the direction of certain clanmates should the dragon concentrate their elemental energies into the strings.
Another identifying feature is that many of the clan members bear the favor of ancient dragon energy in their bodies, which appears as fossilized stone on their hide. In extreme cases, these dragons also have slick wings, which resemble ancient tar-pit material & strongly repel water. (Related to the Tarpit dragon subspecies; full lore pending).
