Adjuchas

Sea Sprinters are a rather curious breed of dragon, ones that emulate the the sleek coat patterns and quick bursts of speed seen in the Quillrunners. Save for the fact they employ these adaptations not only on land, but in the water as well.

Adept at enormous bursts of speed for short periods of time, make them an interesting ambush predator. While hunting on land, they make use of many of the same hunting techniques as the 'runners they mimic. And they've even adapted a portion of that method to underwater ventures.

However, like the Quillrunners, they cannot maintain that high speed for long, only being able to sprint at their top speed for a few minutes at best. While not hunting, these dragons can be found lounging and conserving energy. Interestingly enough, they also seem to have taken to mimicking some of the Quillrunners unique vocalizations; so it is not unusual to hear Sea Sprinters chirping, purring or meowing to each other.
